Top Ten iPhone and iPad Apps Released This Week

Looking for a new app this weekend?  Here are ten great new apps for the iPhone and iPad that you may want to check out!
Fix-It-Up: World Tour.
Another time management game from G5, this time centered around the car repair business, complete with an underlying romance theme for the protagonist!  Game Center support.  Free.
Path.
Version 2.0 of the photo-sharing service could be seen as an entirely new app, with the chance to share not only pictures but music, locations and even sleep patterns too.  Free.
Infinity Blade II.
The sequel to the massive selling Infinity Blade looks like everything we hoped it would be: more exciting, better looking and bigger weapons!  It’s universal for the iPhone and iPad, plus it has Game Center support.  $6.99/£4.99.
Amazon Santa.
An Amazon app especially for kids to create a wish list for Santa.  Provided Santa shops at Amazon anyway…  Free.
TED.
Until now it has only been iPad owners able to watch the always-interesting TED talks via an official app, but it has now been updated to include native iPhone support too.  Free.
Fuego’s River Adventure.
An iPad 2-only game, as it needs the forward-facing camera.  In a similar way to Microsoft’s Kinect, you control this arcade adventure using your body movements.  $1.99/£1.49.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies.
This Call of Duty game is specially created for smartphones and tablets and has two game modes, a familiar FPS and a second, top-down arcade game.  It also now supports voice chat in multiplayer mode.  It’s universal for the iPhone and iPad too.  $6.99/£4.99.
Book of Heroes.
A fantasy role-playing game from the creators of Space Miner, with 75 quests, Game Center support and the ability to customize your character.  It, and Venan’s other games, are free for this weekend only.  Free.
The Amazing Spider-Man: An Origin Story.
An interactive storybook telling the origin story of Spider-Man, complete with various modes including a read-to-me function with narration by none other than Stan Lee!  $6.99/£4.99.
Flight Unlimited.
A graphically impressive flight simulator that needs the latest hardware to run.  Pilot a Cesna 172 around a huge city with more than 100 buildings and streets.  Universal for the iPhone and iPad. $2.99/£1.99.
