If the network you want doesn't appear on the list it may be a hidden network. You can tap ‘Add Wi-Fi network' to add it manually - you'll need the network name and possibly a password to do this.

- From the homescreen, press the ‘Menu' key.
- Tap ‘Settings'.
- Tap ‘Wireless & networks'.
- Check the ‘Wi-Fi' checkbox to turn Wi-Fi on. The phone will now search for nearby networks and create a list under the ‘Wi-Fi networks' section.
- Tap the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and tap ‘Connect':
- If it's an open network you'll be able to connect straight away. However, bear in mind that some unsecured networks may still have security in place which will mean you'll need to enter a username and password into the phone's browser window before you can access the internet.
- A secured network will need you to enter a password to proceed.
