Now Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S II and the Samsung Galaxy Note will get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update before the end of quarter one of 2012, so that means by the end of March at the latest.

Samsung announced the news on the Samsung Norway Facebook page, so it looks like the updates will be available in Europe by the end of March 2012.

Samsung plans to launch Android Ice Cream Sandwich to the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note towards the end of the first quarter of this year. When more info is coming so we put it out here on our Facebook page! (Translated)

It isn’t clear as yet whether Samsung will also roll out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Galaxy Note and the Galaxy S II in the US, and worldwide at the same time.

As soon as we get some details from Samsung on when the Android 4.0 update will be released for the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note we will let you guys know.
